I sometimes think my cat was a dog in a previous life, because he loves going on walks with us! We've tried several cat harnesses but they are usually ill fitting and easy for him to slip out of-he might go along with wearing them as long as it pleases him, but in true cat fashion he will eventually revolt and figure out how to pull himself out. This harness is built a bit more robustly and has multiple adjustment points, more like a dog harness but seemingly shaped for a cat, as he hasn't been able to sneak out of it yet. The leash has a bungee like elastic which helps, since if he pulls too hard like he wants to escape, the leash gives instead of providing the tension to pull the harness off. A big bonus is the seat belt buckle clip to provide safety while we road trip. We went with the medium size since out cat is about 15 lbs. and it was easy to adjust it to fit him.
