When I first got this brush, my kitty was so confused about it. She was completely avoiding it and I was seriously considering returning it. Gradually, she warmed up to it with training and she’s become an addict. She will stop whatever she is doing and rub herself on the ground when I approach her with it. I love that the bristles are covered at the tips. I’ve had brushes that are just sharp metal at the end and I can see how that would be irritating for my kitty with sensitive skin. The only thing is that I wish it was a tad smaller. For a petite girl who loves her cheeks brushed, this brush is a bit too big for that area and she frequently bumps into the plastic, making it difficult to have a thorough pass. I’m still able to brush her cheeks and neck but it’s just a bit difficult. My girl hasn’t shed much so there isn’t a lot of fur that collects in the brush, but I have had a bit of her fur get stuck under the top piece before. I’d imagine that may be a bit frustrating to clean out if there’s a lot of hair.
