I bought this as a gift for my cats. I wasn’t sure that they would use it, but it was so cute. It came packaged well and was simple to put together. I really like that this serves two purposes and yet, it doesn’t take up much space. The palm tree is sturdy, doesn’t tip over and the leaves have held up well. It has become their favorite scratching post . The beach chair is also sturdy and made from solid wood with no splinters. The fabric is a thick canvas that is detachable for washing and still looks new after almost 6 months. Because it is a tightly woven fabric, their nails don’t get caught on it or snag it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the canvas that is held in place by Velcro comes undone. It’s easy to put back on, but I wish I didn’t have to. With that being said, I still think it’s well worth the money and my cats use and enjoy it daily.
