My dog chews up anything soft very quickly so I had to find something that would last longer than five minutes! These work great and he loves them! They are hard and keep him occupied for hours. You just have to be careful to keep track of when they have been chewed past the point of being safe, which, for my dog takes about a month. I just make sure I have a new one ready to trade out when the old one needs to be removed. May seem expensive but worth it for me because he chewed through cheaper things too quickly so I had to constantly replace them, this lasts a lot longer so more cost effective in the long run.
